There are many great transportation options to get you to Surrey Canada Day. Using different modes of transportation can save you money, improve your health, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions!
Please help us be responsible neighbours and keep parking issues to a minimum in our community. Please plan your trip where possible by transit, bike, walking and/or Car/Ride share. If you live close by, walk – this is your best option!
Here are some of the other ways to get to the festival:
Transit
Plan your trip using Translink’s Trip Planner.
- Additional buses will be in operation to provide service to the King George SkyTrain station after the Fireworks finale.The stop for these buses will be located at 64th Avenue and 176th Street. SkyTrain service will be extended on Canada Day, with the last train leaving King George Station at 12:38am. For more information, go to Translink.
Cycling
There are many cycling route options with safe, designated bike lanes, shared traffic lanes and off-street pathways. Check out a Bike Route Map to plan your route early!
Drop off your bike with The Bicycle Valet close to 176 St and 64 Ave. They’ll be able to securely park your bike for FREE while you enjoy the event. there are also bike racks at the end of 62A Avenue entrance, beside the RCMP Community Tent. Please dismount your bike before you enter the grounds under the archway.
If you are cycling from outside the area, take a look at Translink’s Regional Bike Maps to plan your route.
Driving
If you need to come by car, please consider sharing your ride with others – find connections on RideShare.
Free public parking will be available at the Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino (access off of 60th Avenue) and Cloverdale Agriplex (via 62nd Avenue and 176th Street). Handicap parking and motorcycle parking are located at Lot B, off 62nd Avenue (near the Agriplex). Please don’t park at Cloverdale Crossing (North East corner of 176th and 64th).

Accessibility
Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre is accessible, with paths running throughout the venue. Patrons that require viewing assistance may have access to the accessible viewing deck in front of the main stage. Details of the exact viewing deck location will be released on our map in the coming weeks.
A sensory friendly space will be provided on site for attendees looking for a quiet, comfortable space during the event. You can find the sensory friendly space tents located closest to Gate 6 near the pond. See map for details.
An ASL interpreter will be provided for all opening ceremonies and important announcements at this event.
Weather
Surrey Canada Day is rain or shine. In the event of rain, guests are encouraged to wear a rain jacket or poncho.
